I am the gluten-free girl who loves to eat whole foods but doesn’t always have the time to make time consuming meals. I refuse to eat fast food so when I have a super busy day, I will grab Instant Pot leftovers. I reheat them and take in my thermos container.

Let’s talk taste. I was an avid crock-pot user but realized how much quicker the Instant Pot could be. If I didn’t have time to combine everything in the crockpot before I left for the day, I was in trouble. This way, I can make something in 40 minute once I pick the kids up or make it early in the day and it will slow-release the pressure and keep everything warm until we are home.
The first time I made my mama’s Chicken Vegetable Soup in the Instant Pot vs. the stove top, my kids noticed a huge difference in taste. There’s something special about the way it uses pressure and nothing tastes mushy!! What took me at least 2 hrs of simmering on the stove top (which meant I needed to be home) is now about 30 minutes.
Honestly, I owned it for almost a year before I used it. My friend told me the easiest and best thing to make first was hard boiled eggs. They peel much easier because of the way they are pressure cooked. So I finally got it out and the rest is history.
Here’s my favorite recipe for Fall:
Harvest Veggie Spagetti Squash Instant Pot Recipe
Step 1: Wash and cut squash in half, then half one side so both sides fit. Remove seeds. Then add one cup water and the steamer basket. Place the squash on top. Lock lid and set to high pressure for 7 min. You can quick or slow release depending on how quickly you want the recipe done. Remove the squash and set aside to cool for 10 min.
Step 2: Drain water and remove steamer basket. Add a tsp of oil to the pot and turn it to the saute feature. Add one onion, chopped, and two packs of lean ground turkey meat. Stir often until the meat is done. Then add 2 tsp. Flavor God Spicy Everything found here: https://amzn.to/2EwZ8k0
Step 3: Add the inside of the squash back into the pot, along with one jar of your favorite low sugar pasta sauce. I’ve been using Trader Joe’s seasonal flavored sauce called “Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce.” It tastes amazing. I also add in some grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Lock the lid and set to Manual high pressure for 10 minutes. This lets all the flavors combine. You can then have it stay warm or eat right away. I will often times top with some red pepper flakes for the extra spice.

Week Two Liift 4 Review – A Mom’s Weight Loss Transformation!
This week has been full of ups and downs! I didn’t get enough sleep which can hurt with progress and I didn’t feel or see many changes in my weight or body.
I stuck to the plan and did some fun shorter workouts on my free days. I always workout six days a week even when the plan is only four. I just feel better when I push play more often. I feel more alive once I’ve moved my body.Some realizations I had this week reminded me that change lives in the hard moments. Change happens when I want to give up and don’t. During the jump squats or mountain climbers, when I want to drop to my knees and stop, I dig deep and push harder. I know I have a reserve I can tap into and once I do, I build my inner strength.I’m hopeful that in a few days I will wake up and see the changes I think I deserved this week. And if I don’t, I won’t quit. I will stay in the game and push just as hard because the results will come. They will happen. I trust and believe. I also know that even though I gave up alcohol, my nutrition hasn’t been 100% on point. I drink my superfoods daily and focus on my containers but I also sneak treats like Trader Joe’s Power Berries, and extra peanut butter. Dialing in sleep and nutrition this week and I can’t wait to see how I’ll feel!! -

I love the effortless style a pretty dress can bring from Free People. Being able to throw one on, while not worrying about a bra strap showing or what shoes you “have” to wear with it can be so freeing.
This dress is a simple way to feel put together for Fall. Since I’m a huge fan of Free People, I needed to show you this dress. I have longer arms and Free People seems to always work well for that. I wore it all day and felt so comfortable and cute.It comes in three colors and is currently on sale (Free People Embroidered Minidress) Get it before it’s too late!I packed these boots on our weekend getaway but quickly realized a shorter bootie would have shown some leg and been really cute too. I think I might even wear it with some Hunter boots as a true “mom style” look.Anyway you wear it, I will always like a long-sleeved dress. It doesn’t show too much skin so can be a fun girls night outfit or even a date night. You could go for a delicious dinner with your love and leave the restaurant not feeling like a stuffed pig in skinny jeans.So, my boots are Marc Fisher knee high boots. I bought them last year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Unfortunately, they aren’t available any longer, but I have included a couple alternatives! Week Thirteen Review Of 80 Day Obsession – A Mom’s Journey of Weight Loss Transformation!
I can’t believe this is the final week of my 80 day journey! Technically it’s been 93 days but 80 workouts.
9 lbs lost and 7 1/2 inches lost all over.
I gained an inch in each thigh but they look smaller due to the shape.
I love how small my ribcage, chest and easier feel. My arms and shoulders are so sculpted now.
At the end of this video you’ll see me crying on the last day and I have to say that it does feel like summer camp is ending I am really sad. I’m going to miss all of the momentum that this has brought into my world.
But guess what, I’m gonna do Round Two and I’m gonna be just as committed because I want to see EVEN more changes in my body and mindset.
The shape shifting is a real thing and it’s happened for so many of the test group girls.
In the after photos of my booty it’s almost as if it’s a lifted by 3 to 4 inches.My waist looks chiseled out creating a separation, my muscles are defined, I’ve kicked my addiction to nightly wine, and the floods of confidence have been poured over me because I actually did what I set out to do.
Was I perfect with the nutrition? Absolutely not!!! I had chocolate and chips. There were days I didn’t drink enough water or get enough sleep but the majority of the time I was true to the schedule and I believe that is where our success lies, in our daily habits. The things we do 80% of the time so that we can enjoy that 20% and not feel guilty about it.
This workout could be for any woman at any stage or age. Except pregnancy. It truly felt like I got the inside scoop on how and when to eat the right foods to get the most out of hem and also like I had a trainer by my side every day.

I have found that the better my nutrition is, the better my skin looks! I even notice the stretched out skin on my belly looking firmer when I have less body fat. That being said, I wanted to share some my current favorite skin treatments for anti-aging.

Week Twelve Review Of 80 Day Obsession – A Mom’s Journey of Weight Loss Transformation!
It’s down to the final two weeks of 80 Day Obsession and I’m feeling so strong! Phase three is designed to lean me out and it is! I see it daily! I can tell there is an extra push in me now since I’m so close to the finish line.
All I can picture is my after photo and not much is going to stop me now. Thanks to my superfood meal and eating so clean I’ve been healthier than ever before this last Winter! Sugar is the main culprit for sickness with me and since I’m not having much, my energy levels are high!
The hour workouts are as much of a push for me at this point because I’ve trained by myself to push play by a certain time so that I can get the family out of the house in time for school. There’s something in me that loves racing against the clock so this strategy of early morning workouts is perfect for me.
I know I’ve said this before but I truly believe this program can be for anyone. Man or woman. There is so much benefit to building up our core and glute muscles. It helps us in so many ways especially if you want to live a healthy lifestyle with your kids and do any outdoor activities like hiking or 5k races, etc.
Stay tuned for Peak Week info because next week my meal plan changes and I’m a little nervous. Those butterflies mean change is coming so it’s more fun than anything at this point.

It’s here, the structure of Fall and the rhythm of routine. I enjoy Summer so much but I’m learning to love this even more. When I first started my fitness journey, my babies were little and the discipline of daily to-do lists kept me sane. They still do.

Juice from two lemons
Pinch of cayenne to taste
2-3 drops of vanilla liquid stevia https://amzn.to/2Ct32IT
1-2 one inch chucks of peeled ginger to tasteI blended all ingredients with one cup of water and then strain off the ginger pulp with a fine mesh strainer.
I then mix with a gallon of water and pre-fill my water bottles for the day!
So much tastier than you might think! I love little tricks of the trade. I would have never known about this if it wasn’t for my fit community.
P.S. it’s not husband or kid approved. Maybe just a mom approved who has goals but also wants a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon tonight?!

Week Eleven Review Of 80 Day Obsession – A Mom’s Journey of Weight Loss Transformation!
With three weeks left, I’m finally starting to see some results!
This type of progress visually makes it easier for me to push on and finish strong! I still love all the food I’m getting on Plan B! The calculations feel perfect and I’ve heard that from my clients as well! We all feel satisfied and we know the nutrition feeds the muscle gain we are having!
I don’t crave food at night any more which used to be a huge problem for me! I used to overindulge almost every night and go to bed feeling full and basically disgusting!
I’ve learned that the snacking problems stemmed from me being dehydrated and tired. When you are tired, your brain craves glucose. It needs that quick sugar for energy (kind of that feeling when you’re pregnant). I also feel this when I don’t have enough healthy carbs in my diet.
Instead of trying to stay up and work or watch t.v., I simply get ready for bed and get that precious sleep! My goal is to be asleep by 10:30 and that’s also what Autumn recommends if you’re waking up at 6:30am. I like to wake up at 5:30 so if I can finish my bedtime skincare and routine and be in bed by 9:45, that lets me check in with clients and plan for the next day!
I am a strong believer that our success is found in the daily routine! I recommend the book “The compound Effect” by Darren Hardy to all my new clients. After I read that book and truly understood how much of an edge I could gain by simple daily habits, my whole game changed!! I hope this gives you new insight to your daily habits!

Week ten is here! A lot like week nine, but all bloat is gone and I’m back at it harder than ever.
I felt great this week based on my body being back on track. I pushed super hard. I took less breaks and really pushed myself. I love those days when you know you gave it your all. I am absolutely spent after my 80 Day Obsession workouts! They literally push me to my limit. The nice thing is, anyone can do it cause your limit is what you want it to be! No one is forcing you to go crazy!
One big help is the performance line I’m taking to help with soreness and my daily superfood shake that I could throw greens in. I swear it completely saved my results on the trip. Eating out every meal is not waistline friendly.
Nutrition was good this week. Being back home and in the groove, with time frames under control, it was nice to be on track. Energy levels are still going up and up. I feel my body getting more toned.
Each year through Team Beachbody my husband and I earn a trip somewhere tropical and warm. I still can’t believe I get rewarded for helping women find all the beautiful things that I have found through health and fitness. We are going to an all inclusive resort, Planet Hollywood in Cancun. We are staying in the adult only area….we are soooo excited!
This business has been a gift to me and I extend it to anyone who’s interested because it would be a huge gift to you and your family as well. We leave in a month, so now my focus has shifted to that trip to see my friends and fellow coaches and enjoying being spoiled by the company. As I focus on every rep, every bite, every meal and every day it’s letting me put my head down and trust that I’m capable of change!
