The LOVE/HATE Relationship of Food Prep!
•I Love Food Prep • I Hate Food Prep•
Okay maybe I hate food prep a little more than I want to admit, but it’s so worth having it done. I’m happy when I have fast healthy choices for me and the family.
Here’s what I just did:
✅ Cut and washed the romaine and kale.
✅ Cooked two types of organic sausages.
✅ Prepped the taco meat and used one package ground turkey mixed with one package ground turkey breast.
✅ Baked paleo pumpkin muffins for the kids breakfast and before bed snack if they are begging for more food ? (recipe on my Instagram)
Here’s our menu for the week:
Tuesday: Roasted brussel sprouts and almond flour breaded chicken tenders with Fixate Cookbook, honey mustard dressing dip
Wednesday: Kale salad and sausages
Thursday: Udi’s GF cheese pizza (my late work night) with green beans
Friday: Sweet potato fries and leftovers of their choice. We usually do popcorn for our movie night, too!
Now to enjoy my strawberry, goat cheese, walnut salad..???#phew#foodprep

The Burpee Roll!!
This is my new favorite BURPEE! We all just ❤ burpees, right? ? ?
It’s called a Burpee Roll and is on the deluxe version of my new 22 minute workouts.

Should I use a credit card? Yikes, they’re scary!!!
Is it wise to use a credit card? Is there a benefit? Will it get me in debt? Can I use it to my advantage at all? There are a lot of financial gurus that state not to have a credit card. I agree with that mentality if you have a tough time paying that card off monthly. Credit cards usually have higher interest charges and will really kill you financially in a short amount of time. Well shoot, let’s talk about these little plastic cards, that get us into so much trouble!

Starting a Business…. it’s no joke!
Starting a Business 101…..
People tell you it will be hard. People tell you most fail. People tell you that it will keep you up at night. People tell you starting a business is exciting, thrilling, risky, and absolutely frustrating. Funny thing is………people are right!!! Starting a business is hard. It takes perseverance. It takes grit. It takes consistency to high degree that most don’t understand. Now, before I go off and talk about where I am at now, we must stick to the topic…. “starting a business.” There are a lot more things to think about than one may originally think.

My Transformation with the 21 Day Fix.
21 Day Fix – A really short journey!!
It only takes 21 days!! You have containers to measure your food, workouts that you do daily and all you have to do is some prep and actually workout. Oh, and the workouts are only 30 minutes long. It is not hard, it just takes a bit of discipline and it will get you in shape!!
I won’t lie….I was skeptical. Beachbody was using a new trainer, Autumn Calabrese, with a lot of hype saying this really worked. I had done a cleanse through Beachbody, called The Ultimate Reset back in June of 2012. I lost some weight during that, but I also lost muscle because I wasn’t working out….it was a cleanse, but it was also 21 days. But, Stacy, my wife, wanted me to do it. So what the hey…….I decided to do it!

My Journal, the story of my life….
I began journaling when I was 16 years old. I was taking a Bible class and my teacher had us start journaling as we were reading the Bible. Having a journal ever since then has changed my life in understanding myself a lot more. I enjoy it more than I can tell you. It is a reminder of where you have been and where you want to go and a way to not forget where you have gone right or gone wrong.

P90X3 Eccentric Lower – – Oh my goodness……
P90X3 has been an amazing change from any other workout I have ever done. Having a workout that is only 30 minutes a day is a gift beyond my imagination. This means if you want you can do a double some days, but having a half hour work out really allows you to have no excuse to not workout!! That is what it has done for me and will for you too!! Tony Horton is back to usual cornball antics and I love it!
My Blog! My life!
There are a lot of things that run through my crazy brain. I have a lot going on in my life right now. I just had my second child, a wonderful baby boy. It has changed my life in more ways than I can explain. I can’t believe he is here and I can’t believe I have two kids now. My life will never be the same and I can’t wait to see what he becomes!!
