New Year STRONG with Core De Force
Core De Force Meal Plan & Week 4 Update
Core De Force Week 4 Meal Plan is going down today. Failing to plan is like planning to fail. When I first heard that phrase I thought it was crazy. Like seriously…. who plans out there food every week? I don’t have time for that and seriously, who actually eats what they plan out? That was my thinking 4 years ago, and I quickly realized after failing over and over at my nutrition that there was truth to meal planning and that I needed to embrace it. Do I always eat exactly what is on the plan?? NOT AT ALL! But at least I have a plan, I have food in the house and I am empowered and set up for success. So it’s Sunday and I call this my planning day. I am sitting here with the Core De Force nutrition guide, my blank meal plan template I created on a spreadsheet, and my grocery list so that I can get my game plan together for the 4th week of Core De Force.
After 4 years of clean eating and exercising I have found my perfect combination. I have done everything from the The South Beach Diet, The Fat Flush Diet, Eat Right For your Blood Type Diet, 21 Day Fix, Fix Extreme, 3 day refresh (<<btw, you would love this one) and following a Gluten-free diet. I have found that my body personally responds to food very differently. I get bloated with dairy and grains, I get mentally foggy and almost an instant headache with refined sugars. If I eat paleo, stay away from dairy, gluten, and sugars that are artificial I feel my best. No bloating, no mood swings, no headaches and improved muscle definition and tone.
So here is my “ideal” lifestyle ( even though I love raw cheddar, brie and Elleno’s Greek Yogurt)
- Dairy free
- Gluten Free
- No artificial sugars at all
- No legumes
- Paleo lifestyle
I can share with you the difference is for sure in the results too:
I just don’t have those crazy crashes in my energy level like I did before. I am not sluggish, I don’t have headaches unless my alignment is out of place, my skin is clearer and I’m just healthier and happier all around.The picture on the far left is from June when I was able to start working out again post surgeries. You can search my blog for details on that fiasco. The one on the far right is after completing 21 Day Fix Extreme, 8 weeks of Hammer and Chisel and 3 weeks of Core De Force. I can really see my definition showing up. I know I’m already fit but I feel healthy, powerful and STRONG which is really what I’m after. Plus I really love that Core De Force is so focused on your core and that you do not need any weights at all. It is just the perfect Hashtag Girlboss workout. I wear my weighted gloves and I can do it in my own home. No one cares how my hair looks. Half the time I am grunting and punching and looking completely ridiculous.

So let’s also talk nutrition. I am following the Core De Force meal plan. I also really do modify and I don’t always get in the yellows. I eat maybe 1 per day and I eat more good fats because I follow the Paleo lifestyle. That is what my body responds to the best. Here is my week 4 meal plan:
I have snacks typically in the afternoon between lunch and dinner and then after dinner I usually need a snack. I do make my last meal of the day at least 3 hours before bed. I do not have any kind of carbohydrate after dinner unless it’s the occasional bowl of air-popped popcorn with coconut butter. Shhhhh 😉
My latest go to snack has been:
-1 honeycrisp apple
-handful of chopped almonds
-sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
-Microwave for 45 seconds and it’s warm and soft. So good!!!

You can stream your workouts anywhere there is wifi or download 7 workouts to your library to do with no wifi connection.
Last week of Core De Force, but I’m going to continue on with month 2 because I love it that much!!!!

A Mom’s Journey – Life Transformation
This is my journey. In the picture on the left, I felt trapped in my own body. Because I didn’t struggle with my weight much growing up, my 20’s were a hard spot. I couldn’t eat what I wanted anymore and keep the weight off. It was so HARD for me to lose weight. I swear, I would have given my right arm to drop JUST 5 lbs. I had no idea how to eat “clean”, I only knew crash diets or extreme cleanses. You know, I tried so many different things that ended up hurting me. Can you relate? I thought every meal needed to taste perfect and literally be covered in cheese. I would sometimes eat fast food twice a day and often leave the house at 8 p.m. to go buy ice cream, chocolate or sour patch kids. Finally, I came to the fact, I knew there was something better for me and I was on the hunt! I knew I could feel alive inside and happy with my body. I believed it!
The search finally led me to a community of people who had found what I wanted. They found balance and simplicity. They found a system that was normal and easy and totally doable for someone like me. A busy mom of two who just needed a plan.🙋🏼 I needed to take care of myself for my family and find a way to teach healthy habits to my kids. I was so happy and prayed it would work for me!! Well, it did!
I found daily superfoods/vitamins that replaced a meal or snack. I found friends who needed to do stuff at home while their kids napped but we could still check in online for support. I found short (freaking awesome) workouts that get it done and transform bodies. I found my light. ✨The girl that I had been searching for could finally come to life. The weight came off, the habits were formed. I figured out how to eat so that I felt good for my workouts and my body would respond in a positive way.
The journey continues and I now get to help others “find” what they are looking for. If you at all feel lost or frustrated…please reach out. Transformation Tuesday Matt Rody!
What in the heck!!!!!! This Transformation Tuesday is EXTRA special to me because it is my ❤️ main squeeze!
He and I have been trying to figure out this whole “healthy lifestyle” thing for YEARS!!! I must admit, he’s much better at going “all in” with diet and I’m better at going “all in” with fitness. His issue is portion control and mine is saying goodbye to occasional treats. ?
Well, when he got invited to the super exclusive Beachbody Test Group in the beginning of January, it was a bigger blessing than both of us even knew at the time!!! He completed round 2 at the end of May, 2016, and has not only found his steady rhythm on the fitness side, he’s also been as diligent as I’ve seen anyone be with his diet! I’m in AWE of the control he’s had!!!!! The small 40 person online accountability group was his anchor ⚓️ and our food prep each week was his ?edge. He pushed through and stuck to it every single day.
He did have a week off between rounds. Each round of 22 Minute Hard Corps is 8 or 9 weeks, depending if you decide to do Hell Week. Transformation Tuesday is all about people being consistent and my hubby really fits the bill.
We’ve both found our SWEET SPOT in all of this because of Beachbody. It’s nutrition (daily superfoods) + fitness + support = SUCCESS —>Sounds cheesy but it stinking works!!! No more guessing games and fad diets for us! Praise JESUS 😉 We truly have found our placement and what is really
His stats are 31 lbs gone and 15.25 inches lost overall for this Transformation Tuesday!! Please comment if you or your hubby needs to get moving in your journey!!! We all need encouragement to JUST KEEP GOING!!!! It’s a journey. It doesn’t happen overnight, but as you can see, if you focus for about 5 months, a lot can change.

I love being told how many to eat a day and what foods I get to choose from. #mombrain #colorcoded. I also love the feeling of having energy ? and being strong ??. Two of the best things ever. Well, that and being able to walk into your closet and put everything you own on, and it FITS!
I didn’t always have these feelings though. Just a few years ago, I was lost in what to eat and what workouts worked best for me. Crash diets were my jam. It was a terrible place for me. Since then, I’ve found the “secret” to fit mom SUCCESS and I can’t hide it. The fire in my soul to help other women find what works for them is lit. ? I want you to have everything you’ve wanted with your health and fitness goals and the time is now!! Not in September when the kids go back to school.

Work In Progress! Progress Photos After Surgery

I took these photos today and I realized I looked better 10 months post (2nd) baby then I do now, a definite work in progress. Gosh darn it. Now, I am not on this journey to be perfect. NOT AT ALL! It is about me being the best version of ME. Competing with myself. Being that example to our kids that it’s about feeing good in our bodies and understanding limits and nutrition. Training my brain in the good habits, not the bad cycles I used to live in.
I’ve realized if I don’t have a plan and if I don’t push out of my comfort zones, my old late night eating and binge habits come back. They creep in. I have been known to wallow in a little self pity. I’ve let the past hangups affect the present. Not forgiving myself or staying too long in that defeat. Not any more. Action builds confidence so I will put my head down and go. #shutupnegativeselftalk
Now this will require some commitment. I’ve lost results and strength from the surgeries but through accountability from the group and some hard work, I know I can gain it back, plus some. ? No matter where any of us are at, we are a work in progress! But with a group of women like us, we will hit results like never before! I am going to be joining my husband in his official Corporate Beachbody Test Group with 22 Minute Hard Corps (read more about it here)! I’m super excited about it, as his results so far have been awesome! I want to tell everyone all about, as it is being released March 1st and we will be holding a test group March 21st to take people through it!

Goals Were Never Even A Thought, Now They Are Everything
The Girl with no Goals
The girl in the before picture never made goals, felt self-conscience ALL the time, and had no idea how she was going to teach her kids about not giving up-because that’s all she knew how to do. She wasn’t in a place of need or guidance from God because she balanced it all on her own shoulders. She stayed in her comfort zone. Goals weren’t even in her thoughts. She ate her emotions and hid her true feelings from just about everyone. This was 9 years ago.
Fast forward 6 years and there was an opportunity placed in front of her. She watched as others shared their stories of where they came from and what they had accomplished. The goals they had made and accomplished. She wondered, why not me? Why couldn’t she earn extra money and make my own hours, actually make goals and hit them?
Working at Nordstrom’s left me wanting to not give up the niceties of life. Hello fashion, shoes and cosmetics!! Being able to support the family using the talents God gave me would be a win/win, right? Being healthy in mind, body and spirit for a career seemed pretty legit. To have something that fit in the cracks of my mommy-life and build on itself seemed too good to be true. I didn’t have all the health answers but I knew what was working for me and loved encouraging people. To have something that would teach me to step out, learn to fail and get back up and would continually build my character. Here’s more of my full story!
The Girl with Goals…..and Hitting Them!
Fast forward to present day. I’ve been able to use the gifts God has given me. I actually have made goals and hit them!! To invite others to join me in having more energy for their families. To stay home with the kiddos and work in my Juicy Couture sweats. To be challenged daily and fight the good fight of life and NEVER give up.
Maybe you don’t have kids yet but you want to make a career out of something that keeps you accountable to your own health goals? Maybe you’re a mommy but want something on the side for yourself? Or perhaps you want to grow a business at your own pace for when the kiddos are in school full time or off to college? Maybe you want to switch careers to something more meaningful than what you’re currently doing.
As I look at how much I’ve learned and grown, I can’t keep this to myself. I set goals, hit them and now help others do the same. Coaching has given this worker-bee girl a sense of pride and purpose. It allows us as a family to give more and be together lots. No more punching time-clocks for me. Only freedom to pay it forward and teach others how to share their stories.
