Dec 16 2015 Compound Effect! Don’t let the Holidays Derail You!
Remember It’s a Compound Effect!
It’s crazy how the Holidays can steal our health momentum, it’s a compound effect. Since figuring out how sick sugar and empty carbs make me, it’s been a little easier to say✋?❌❗
I do have to confess…last night I had red wine AND a cookie. Let’s just say before bed I felt sick and this morning the joints in my hands hurt and I didn’t “pop” out of bed like usual. Goes to show how noticeable it is when you haven’t had something for a while.
On a good note, the compound effect of being good for three weeks let me slip on my skinny jeans I recently thought I would never fit into again! I haven’t stepped on the scale since it always plays with my head but I’m riding this {non-scale} victory all week.
The 80/20 rule really does work but you’ve gotta keep it clean 70-80% of the time. #progressnotperfection
Here we have a Stem long sleeved sweater shirt from Nordstrom, Rock and Republic skinny jeans and some awesome Hunter rain boots! I can’t remember where I got the hat!! Keep on working on your compound effect and stay healthy during the holidays!
