I love Free People shirts!! It’s so refreshing when you can find cute tops that are also very comfortable! That’s what these are for me. Free People is at the top of my list for brands I love. The sleeves are always the perfect length on my long arms and also tend to run longer in the torso which I need. Most Free People tops can be tucked in with jeans or worn long with leggings. Another bonus, versatility! So let’s get to showing this awesomeness!

The blue thermal runs large so size down. I’m wearing a small. I thought the medium size in the grey top would be too big but I actually liked the way it fell. I love the effortless style a pretty dress can bring from Free People. Being able to throw one on, while not worrying about a bra strap showing or what shoes you “have” to wear with it can be so freeing.
This dress is a simple way to feel put together for Fall. Since I’m a huge fan of Free People, I needed to show you this dress. I have longer arms and Free People seems to always work well for that. I wore it all day and felt so comfortable and cute.It comes in three colors and is currently on sale (Free People Embroidered Minidress) Get it before it’s too late!
I packed these boots on our weekend getaway but quickly realized a shorter bootie would have shown some leg and been really cute too. I think I might even wear it with some Hunter boots as a true “mom style” look.Anyway you wear it, I will always like a long-sleeved dress. It doesn’t show too much skin so can be a fun girls night outfit or even a date night. You could go for a delicious dinner with your love and leave the restaurant not feeling like a stuffed pig in skinny jeans.So, my boots are Marc Fisher knee high boots. I bought them last year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Unfortunately, they aren’t available any longer, but I have included a couple alternatives! Compound Effect! Don’t let the Holidays Derail You!
Remember It’s a Compound Effect!
It’s crazy how the Holidays can steal our health momentum, it’s a compound effect. Since figuring out how sick sugar and empty carbs make me, it’s been a little easier to say✋?❌❗
I do have to confess…last night I had red wine AND a cookie. Let’s just say before bed I felt sick and this morning the joints in my hands hurt and I didn’t “pop” out of bed like usual. Goes to show how noticeable it is when you haven’t had something for a while.
On a good note, the compound effect of being good for three weeks let me slip on my skinny jeans I recently thought I would never fit into again! I haven’t stepped on the scale since it always plays with my head but I’m riding this {non-scale} victory all week.
The 80/20 rule really does work but you’ve gotta keep it clean 70-80% of the time. #progressnotperfection
