I wanted to share ten of my favorite looks for any tropical resort vacation or just a fun summer day! There are so many ways to mix and match our summer items so I hope this gives you a head start on whatever your plans are. You’ll find items from Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, Revolve and more.

I’m also big on investing in quality denim shorts. The older I get, the more willing I am to think about “cost per wear” versus just a quick purchase that I don’t really like and doesn’t flatter my shape. It can take me 1-2 years to bite the bullet on an item I really want but once I do, I wear it so much that it ends up being such a good purchase and addition to my closet. I also can’t get enough of my Tory Burch Miller sandals. The color I like is Makeup. It’s the perfect neutral for my skin tone and with the shape and style, I feel like my legs are elongated and of course, they are comfortable, too!

Here’s a round-up of all my favorite Amazon dresses that work great for that quick change from the pool to dinner reservations. All under $50 and if you know me, I can always get behind mixing high and low prices to round out my closet nicely and not send me to debt lol.

If you’re someone who prefers more of a midi length in skirts check out my favorite denim option. My skirt is from Mango but Abercrombie also makes a good one! Size down if in between sizes.

One last mention is this Anine Bing woven tote bag. I don’t think I’ve seen anything I like more for a beach tote. The design and quality are so fashionable and it goes with anything. It also holds a lot!!! Anine Bing has made a steady increase in wardrobe. Some of her pieces are just perfection and I also appreciate the price point. Not too much but also feel very high-end and chic!!
